Fresno

Fresno sits at the heart of California’s Central Valley and is one of the most agriculturally productive regions in the world. The city is known as a gateway to national parks, including Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia National Park. One fun fact is that Fresno County produces more agricultural products than most entire states. Fresno has deep cultural diversity, reflected in its food, festivals, and neighborhoods. The city also has a surprising underground attraction—the Forestiere Underground Gardens—hand-dug by a single immigrant over decades. Fresno experiences hot summers and mild winters, making it ideal for year-round farming. Despite its agricultural roots, Fresno has a growing arts and music scene, with murals and theaters gaining attention. Its central location makes it a hub for travelers exploring California’s natural wonders.
